American Library Association Affiliation Benefits

  1. 11 issues of the American Libraries, official magazine of the American Library Association.  
  2.  Inclusion in the electronic ALA Handbook of Organization.
  3. Any meetings or programs sponsored by your group will be included in the Final Program at the Midwinter Meeting and Annual Conference which is distributed to all attendees.
  4. The right to reserve meeting room space at the ALA Midwinter Meeting and Annual Conference at the prevailing ALA rate.
  5. Co-sponsorship privileges.
  6. The right to reserve a sleeping room sub-block within the ALA Housing Block for your members.
  7. Annual Conference and Midwinter Meeting free conference registration for the official representative (s). President and Executive Director or Headquarters main contact.
  8. Affiliates meeting with the ALA Executive Director at every conference.
  9. Affiliates who reserve a room block will receive complimentary meeting room space for their board meeting (s).
  10. Participation in Affiliates booth at the Annual Conference Exhibition.
  11. Subscription to the ALA Affiliates list which serves as a communication tool for all affiliates throughout the year.
